Die Stadt Stuttgart plant einen Neubau als Sport- und Kulturzentrum in Hedelfingen. The building is to combine the district library, event rooms, a two-court sports hall and a gymnastics room under one roof.

The resulting compact structure is positioned in the northern part of the plot. Thanks to its small footprint, a natural buffer to the surrounding buildings can be created in the open spaces. Open and friendly, the timber hybrid building with a generous urban balcony connects with the surroundings and invites users to communicate, exercise and meet.
