This year, the excavators are rolling on many of Steimle Architekten's construction sites. In Nuremberg, things are also progressing in leaps and bounds. This week, the entire Steimle project team was on site to take a look at the construction progress. In the meantime, the floor slab has been concreted and the first walls are already in place.
The Bauhuas visitorcentre gets a bestarchitects 23 award for public buildings. On the bestarchitects pageyou can found all awarded projects.
On Dresdner Ring in Backnang, the construction site for the four new residential buildings has started. On the Bau Geno site, you can watch the progress of the construction site since May 2022. You will found the video here.
The Remchingen town hall has been nominated for the Baden Architecture Prize in the Public+Social category. You can still vote until 14.07.22 at this link. Steimle Architekten are happy about every vote.
Thomas Steimle was a guest at the Pforzheim-Enzkreis Chamber Group on Thursday, 21.07.2022. There he gave a lecture with the topic "The place determines - architecture in context", and also answered questions about the Pfozheim housing project Kallhardtstraße. Steimle Archikiteken already won the competition in 2019.
The wreath is blowing in the wind, the carpenters are standing on the roof, the speech has been spoken and the glass has also been broken. Today's topping-out ceremony for the Markolf Hall in Markelfingen was also a poem, so to speak. Together with the builders and the company Fluck Holzbau, Steimle Architekten celebrate the raising of the timber construction elements.
At the end of June, the ground-breaking ceremony for the sports and multi-purpose hall in Wangen im Allgäu took place. The timber hybrid building is completely under the aspect of sustainability and is thus also the first project that the district is building under the "Sustainable Building" guideline.

The Bauhaus Visitor Centre by Steimle Architekten has been nominated for the DAM Prize 2023. From 01 July 2022, you can view all 116 nominated projects on the site of DAM.

This year Steimle Architekten is taking part in the Day of Architecture in Brandenburg. The recently inaugurated visitor centre on the Hannes Meyer Campus is located in the district of Barnim in Brandenburg. The visitor centre will be open to all those interested in architecture on 26 June 2022 and will offer guided tours from 10-17 hrs. We are pleased about numerous visitors.
