The new building of the Sparkasse Rhein-Neckar Nord is in the city centre of Mannheim, on the busy Paradeplatz. For fullfilling his job at the pedestrian area the higher ground floor opens the view into two green yards. It's the principle of the hard shell and the soft core - the red concrete on the outside reminds on the mannheimer stone against the light, bright structure in the inside which ist over and over planted with greens. The concret wave balconies offers a fascinating working atmosphere in the middle of the city centre.
