The new site at Heerstraße 79 is an important building block for urban development at the southern entrance to Rottweil. It marks the transition from urban densification along Heerstraße to small-scale development in the west, while also creating a new point of identity. The urban design concept is based on openness and connectivity. Three clearly structured buildings, each with slightly offset gabled roofs, frame the property without sealing it off. This configuration gives the area a striking presence in the urban space while also creating a spacious inner courtyard that serves as a green, communal centre.

The architecture translates the urban planning approach into a clear and inviting design. A continuous base floor with generous windows forms the heart of the neighbourhood. It opens up the communal areas to the city and gives the area an open character. Above this, differentiated residential floors develop, their horizontal structure given rhythm by slight projections and recesses and loggias. This creates a sculptural façade with varying colours, lending the buildings a sense of liveliness without detracting from their clarity.
